ESCA is proud to one of the three key partners in a new initiative which brings together all the recognised national schools cricket competitions under one banner. We have worked with ECB, MCC and the Schools Cricket Committee to build a unified pathway which gives schools clarity and a guarantee of a high quality experience for players and coaches. The cups cover the Under 12 to Under 18 age range and have competitions for both girls and boys teams. There are enhanced opportunities for state schools to shine and the programme is officially endorsed by the England and Wales Cricket Board. Dr Mark Fenton, ESCA General Secretary said:

'It is incredibly exciting to be able to offer schools a top quality range of competitions run by cricket's leading organisations which will finally give schools the clarity they have been seeking. 2026 was an exciting year for schools cricket with the launch of the MCCF's Knight-Stokes Cup and 2027 now promises even more.'
