ESCA Under 15 One Day Cup

The competition has been running since 1972 and is recognised as the premier national cup for schools at this age group. For over 40 years it was sponsored by The Lords Taverners. Each county runs an Under 14 competition and the winners go on to compete in the national competition in the following season. The national stage is organised in four regions – North, Midlands, South-East and South-West. Teams compete in two or three rounds of matches leading to a Regional Final. The winners of the Regional Finals then play against each other in National Semi-Finals. The finale is the National Final in July which has been held at various prestigious cricketing venues.
