The Loughborough MCC University cricket programme
offers talented young cricketers the chance to receive top-level coaching and playing opportunities whilst also furthering their education. We provide one of the best opportunities to excel on and off the cricket field and the opportunity to obtain a highly credible qualification which will be valuable whether the dream of professional cricket becomes a reality or not. Our programme is aimed at cricketers aged 16 and over who have a confirmed offer at either Loughborough University or Loughborough College.

The Cricket Programme

Loughborough MCCU programme is similar to county academy structure and is arguably one of the best for developing potential First Class Cricketers. To give you an idea of the quality of players we have developed here, Chris Nash (Sussex), Matthew Spriegel (Surrey), David Wainwright (Yorkshire), Monty Panesar (Sussex), David Murphy (Northants), Jimmy Adams (Hampshire), Lydia Greenway (England), Laura Marsh (England) and Nicola Shaw (England) have all graduated from either Loughborough University or Loughborough College.
