inspiresport U15 One Day Cup 2019
Exeter School recently came back from a fantastic cricket tour to Dubai over the Autumn half-term, organised by inspiresport. We had an action-packed itinerary over 6 days, which included 5 cricket matches and some unforgettable sightseeing. Some of our matches were played under lights and we had the opportunity to play a variety of formats. Our excursion highlights included a tour to the top of the Burj Khalifa [world’s tallest building] and a breath-taking desert safari with dinner at the Bedounin Campsite. Added to that, we stayed in a fantastic hotel in the heart of Dubai. Tour Captain, James Horler adds, “The cricket was a fantastic experience, 5 games in searing heat and under floodlights was a once in a lifetime opportunity. Playing on amazing grounds with backdrops you would never get in the UK made the cricket 10 times better and to play great cricket against some good quality sides topped it off. Aside from the cricket, a trip to Wild Wadi waterpark was extremely enjoyable, especially cooling off from the heat!”

A message from U15 One Day Cup sponsors inspiresport
Huge congratulations to Eton College on their inspiresport U15 One Day Cup win at Oakham on Monday. I am sure they will join with me in thanking the Trent College team for making the match competitive and enjoyable for the spectators who attended. On a personal note, it was a pleasure to present the winners’ trophy after spending the day chatting to many cricket enthusiasts about our partnership with ESCA and our cricket tours in general.
Inspiresport are the UK’s leading provider of school sports development tours with destinations across the world. We partner with some of cricket’s top domestic clubs, including Warwickshire, Lancashire, Glamorgan and Surrey to provide our school and youth team groups access to top training facilities and professional coaching. For those looking a little further afield, we’ve recently operated school cricket tours to Barbados, Sri Lanka and India with great success.
We understand that touring plays such an important role in cricket from the national team right through to school competitions and offers players opportunities to test their skills in varying conditions whilst making once-in-a-lifetime memories with their team mates and friends.
If you’d like to know more about our range of cricket tours, we’d be delighted to meet with you at a more convenient time to discuss your requirements, and as inspiresport U15 One Day Cup Finalists you’ll receive an exclusive ‘thank you’ of adidas kit should you go on to book a tour with us.
We’re excited to continue our sponsorship of next year’s competition and look forward to sharing more information about our business, our products and our people in the near future, but for now I’ll wish you all a relaxing summer break.
